E-Docs Library Collections
Providing access to South Dakota State Agency publications not found elsewhere online. The goal of this website is to make state publications freely accessible to South Dakotans and the global community by putting the publications online.

Publications produced by state government are timely, pertinent, and provide a wide range of data and information to the public.

Benefits of the e.library to state government:

• State publications are cataloged into one global database.
• Agencies can refer public requests for these materials to libraries. This service is especially valuable when the public is seeking an agency publication that is out-of-print.
• Finally, reference librarians at the State Library are trained to assist the public in finding the publications they need. This assistance can save agencies' staff time.

ARCHIVE-IT Collection
Archive-It is the South Dakota State Library and the South Dakota State Archives' method of preserving web information. Through Archive-It, South Dakota citizens are able to search South Dakota state agency websites for information that may not be posted to their current sites.

ContentDM Collection
The South Dakota State Library's Digital Collections reflect the history and culture of South Dakota. Our collections are primarily of interest to researchers, genealogists, and librarians. These collections are comprised of images and documents.
